Mackenzie's cookies after baking
Photo was taken in automatic mode without a flash. Any ideas on how to photograph food better?

Now that my sister's baby shower is over I can reveal my biggest project for it. I made almost 40 of these jars for guests to take home as favors. On the lid it has the baking instructions and oh my are they good! The theme of the shower and of her nursery is cherry blossoms.

This photo can only be appreciated while listening to this song....
Eleven Hundred Springs is my all time favorite band and I couldn't believe I actually found Thunderbird...I've heard it's terrible (I won't try it!) and it's more than $1.50, more like $5.00...but hey! it's THE American Classic.
Photo was shot in aperture mode and is unedited.
Has anyone ever tried Thunderbird?
Apologies
I have been totally lame about uploading pictures. I have been taking them everyday, just not uploading. Today I uploaded about 200 pictures from January 12th-February 2nd. I am going to hopefully get back on track and make uploads and a post every day :)
